The implementation of payment options like the My DStv App, WhatsApp, DStv Website, and USSD serves as evidence of our commitment to this technological shift. This transformation has led customers to transition from the traditional practice of visiting our physical locations to embracing online self-service features. This allows them to conveniently make payments, check balances, and access technical solutions at their preferred times. This technological advancement enables us to accommodate a diverse customer base, considering the array of devices they utilize, effectively reaching a wide range of customers nationwide. MultiChoice Talent Factory

Due to the dynamic changes in the entertainment sector, MultiChoice identified a crucial role in fostering the development of future film talents to positively impact Africa's creative industry. Consequently, in May 2018, the company launched the MultiChoice Talent Factory as part of its Corporate Shared Value program. This initiative is designed to nurture and train young, emerging, and passionate film talents through hands-on filmmaking experiences.

To date, 23 aspiring filmmakers from Tanzania have benefited from the East Africa MTF Academy. The success of the program is evident in the achievements of the 18 MTF Alumni who are now actively contributing to the industry, utilizing their acquired skills to enhance the creative landscape through projects such as the award-winning M-Net (MultiChoice) commissioned films on Maisha Magic Channels: Frida, Mvamizi, Still Okay To Date, The Midnight Bride, and Love Transfusion. These films have received numerous local and international prestigious awards.

In addition to the academy, MultiChoice Talent Factory also extends resources to industry professionals in Tanzania and throughout Africa. The second pillar of this initiative, the MTF Masterclass, focuses on upskilling both industry professionals and emerging creatives. It provides exclusive access to practical, expert-led workshops on industry skills. Since its inception in 2019, MTF has successfully trained a significant number of creatives through these masterclasses.
